Instructions to make Macaroni crisp:
  1. Boil 2 cups macaroni in 4+1/2 cups of water and add 2 tbsp oil and pinch of salt to water. Make sure to not over cook macaroni and it should not be sticky. It should be separated from one another.
  2. Strain the excess water after boiling & spread macaroni over a dish and keep aside to bring it to room temperature.
  3. Meanwhile heat oil for frying and prepare masala.
  4. For masala, take a bowl add salt, black pepper, black salt, chaat masala, oregano, chilli flakes, red chilli powder, aamchur and mix them all well.
  5. Once macaroni is cool, sprinkle 2 tbsp of maida & 1 tbsp of corn flour and mix well.
  6. Now, add macaroni in oil to fry. Make sure to add it in very small batches, otherwise it won't become crispy. Fry till it turns golden brown.
  7. After frying all macaroni, add prepared spices mixture to it and mix well.
  8. Voila!! Your macaroni crisp are ready to serve and gobble.
