- In a kadai heat 2 tbsp oil and add cumin seeds, Asafoetida, bay leaf and cloves When splutter add grated ginger and garlic and saute few seconds.
- Add onion and saute until onions light golden brown. further add 1/2 tsp turmeric,1 tsp chilli powder, 2 tsp coriander powder and 3/4 tsp salt. saute well.When the spices are well roasted.
- Then add 1 tbsp tomato puree and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add gobhi, potatoes and mix well and saute for 2 minutes.
- Now add frozen peas and saute few seconds and add 2 tbsp water, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Now add 1 chopped tomato and mix and again cover until tomatoes turn soft and mushy and cauliflower cooked well.
- Now the cauliflower is ready. add 1 tbsp grated paneer and cook for 2-3 on medium flame. Add dry mango powder and garammasala and mix well. Turn off the flame.
- Serve dry Cauliflower bhaji with hot chapati or rice.
