Steps to make Hill station type Kala chana:
  1. First wash then soak the Kala chanas in water over night..don't put much water while soaking beca'se we r and't going to throw the water in which Kala chanas r soaked.. In this water there r lot of minerals
  2. Now take a pressure cooker and put mustard oil to heat..put Kala chanas along with soaked water and salt.. (Quantity of salt must be lesser)
  3. Pressure cook till 2 whistles on high flame then slow down the flame & cook for 10 minutes more.. Flame off
  4. Pick a grain of chana and press in yo'r thumb and a finger to ☑ check whether it's cooked or not
  5. If not then cook for 5minutes more on sim flame
  6. Dry out the water in the chanas..if any excess water is there in chanas
  7. Transfer into a bowl
  8. Serve as it is
  9. Tip ; U can put some chaat masala & squeeze a half lemon over it or can make chat by mixing onion, tomato, spices & lemon juice or termrind water
