  3. Take 150 gram mawa/khoya
  4. Take 2 cups sugar
  5. Make ready 2 tablespoon rice flour
  6. Make ready 2 Pods green cardamom
  7. Get 1/2 jaifal crushed into pieces
  8. Get 1 javitri
  9. Make ready 5-6 strands kesar
  10. Get As needed water
  11. Take As needed rose water

Parwal is also known as potol, parval or pointed gourd. Parwal Sabzi - A simple spicy stir fry made with pointed gourd and potatoes. This is famous in central and northern India. It goes well with chapati, paratha or with rice.

Steps to make Kheer parwal (kheer potol):
  1. At first peel and deseed the parwal. Soak into alum water for 6-7 hours
  2. Remove it from the water and wash with plain water
  3. Now prepare a sugar syrup with 1 cup sugar and 2 cup water
  4. Add jaifal,javitri and kesar allow it to boil
  5. Add the parwal and boil.Keep it on low flame till it becomes soft.
  6. In the meantime prepare a filling with mawa, Coconut,sugar and rice flour
  7. Add crushed cardamom and mix well
  8. Remove it from the oven and allow it to cool down
  9. Remove the parwal from the sugar syrup once it get properly soft
  10. Take spoonful of the filling and fill it inside of the parwal
  11. Sprinkle rose water and keep in the refrigerator
  12. Serve it cool
