  1. Make ready 500 gms biryani rice
  2. Get 1 kg chicken
  3. Make ready 1 cup curd
  4. Prepare 2 big onion
  5. Make ready 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  6. Make ready 1 tsp redchilli powder
  7. Make ready 2 cardamoms
  8. Prepare 1 black cadamom
  9. Prepare 7-8 black pepper corns
  10. Make ready 1/4 tsp javitri
  11. Take 1/4 tsp jaifal
  12. Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
  13. Prepare to taste Salt
  14. Take as required Oil
  15. Make ready 1/2 tsp keora water
  16. Take 1/2 tsp rose water
Instructions to make Dum Chicken biryani:
  1. Half boiled the rice, strain water & keep it aside. Marinate the chicken with turmeric & salt 1/2 an hour.
  2. Heat a pan add oil put onion dice, saute till it becomes golden brown.
  3. Add marinated chicken saute till it becomes dry. Add ginger garlic paste saute to cook nicely.
  4. Add whole garam masala mix it well. Add whipped curd mix it well & cooked till the oil left on the edge of the wok.
  5. Add half of keora water& biryani masala mix it well & cook for another mint.
  6. Now Layard the biryani. Take a heavy bottom wok layered rice, then chicken and repeat the same process, likewise layered all, than add keora water, rose water, biryani masala & a spoonful of ghee & 2 tbsp saffron milk. Cover a plate & on the side close with roti dough. Now cook it on low flame 30 mints.
  7. Dum chicken biryani is ready serve with cucumber.
