The ingredients needed to make Sprouted moong sabji:
- Take as required Water for soaking
- Get 3/4 cup whole moong dal
- Get 3 tbsp oil
- Get 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- Get 1 tbsp jeera
- Get Pinch hing
- Prepare 1 onion finely chopped
- Take 2 tomatoes finely chopped
- Prepare 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- Get 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Prepare 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- Take 1 tsp Coriander powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Amchur powder
- Make ready 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- Make ready as per taste Jaggery( optional)
- Get as required Water for consistency
- Take as required Coriander leaves for garnishing
Moong sprout masala -Bean sprouts cooked in simple Indian spices. Moong Sprout Masala- Bean sprouts or moong sprouts are very healthy and we all know the health. Moong Hare Lasun Sabzi is a nutritious sabzi made with sprouted green gram and fresh green garlic. Thi sabzi with rotis is an absolute comfort food.
Instructions to make Sprouted moong sabji:
- Firstly in a large kadhai heat oil.
- Further, add mustard seeds, cumin and hing allow to splutter.
- Additionally, add onions and continue to saute.
- Also, add ginger garlic paste and green chilli. saute well till the raw aroma disappears
- Furthermore, add tomato and saute well. Saute till the tomatoes turn soft and mushy.
- Additionally, add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, dry mango powder, jaggery and salt.
- Saute on low flame till the masala gets cooked well completely and releases oil from sides.further add sprouted moong dal.
- Also add water and mix well.
- Adjust the consistency by adding water as required.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or pressure cook for 2 whistles.
- Cook the dal well however, do not over cook as the sprouts will loose their nutritional value.
- Finally, serve sprouts curry along with jowar roti or rice.
