  1. Wash the moong nicely. Soak it in sufficient water for 6 to 8 hours or overnight.

  3. Add Turmeric powder, salt and 2 tbsp of water to the sprouted moong and steam it in a steamer or rice cooker for 12 to 15 minutes or till it is cooked. Allow it to cool before making the salad.
  4. To make the sprouted moong salad: Take a bowl, to it add the cooked sprouted moong, sambar onions, green chillies, lemon juice, salt and coriander leaves.
  5. Sprouted moong salad is ready. Serve it.
